With Winter finally taking it’s leave and Spring coming in right on it’s heels, we are gearing up for the 2nd2None 5K Run & Walk!

Whether you have pre-registered for the race or are waiting to see how the weather will be, here are some important things you need to know:

  1. Our online registration has been extended until April 24th, at the reduced cost of $40.00!!  April 27th race day registration cost will be $45.00.
  2. Shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed after April 13.
  3. Our race course is USATF Certified.
  4. We are having pre-registration packet pick-up at Two Brothers Roundhouse,   205 N. Broadway, Aurora, on Friday, April 25th, from 4:00-7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th, from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM.
We encourage you to stop by and pick up your packet to avoid waiting in line on Sunday. You may even want to stay for dinner!
  5. Parking for the race event on Sunday will be at the Aurora Train Station, directly across from RiverEdge Park.  There is a fee of $1.50 to park all day (bring quarters).  If the main lot is full, there is additional parking on the other side of the tracks (tunnel access to get from one side to the other).  Please do not park in the United States Post Office lot, as you risk being towed.
  6. There will be food vendors at the park during the entire event.
  7. The race will be held rain or shine. Cancelled only if dangerous weather threatens.
  8. If you have not been at our race before, you still have the opportunity to join us!
  9. We will send out one last e-blast mid-week before the race.

We are still looking for volunteers to help with set-up, water stations, clean-up.  If you are interested please go to www.volunteerfoxvalley.org to sign up or go to our race registration site to see what needs are still available.
